General Debate (23 - 29 September 2025)
World leaders gathered to engage in the annual high-level General Debate under the theme “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all.” Heads of State and Government and ministers explored solutions to the intertwined global challenges to advance peace, security, and sustainable development.
Climate Summit (24th September 2025)
The High-Level Meeting on Sea-Level Rise will bring together global leaders, experts, and stakeholders to address the growing threat of rising sea levels. The focus will be on building a shared understanding, mobilizing political leadership, and fostering a multisector collaboration to develop actionable solutions. The goal is to ensure a resilient and sustainable future, particularly for small island developing states and low-lying coastal areas.

30th Anniversary of the World Programme Action For Youth
(September 25th, 2025)
Achieving global nuclear disarmament is the UN’s top disarmament priority. It was first addressed in the General Assembly's 1946 resolution, which aimed to control nuclear energy and eliminate atomic weapons. This annual High-level plenary meeting commemorates and promotes the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, reinforcing global efforts to eliminate these threats.

Conference on Rohingya Muslims & Other Minorities in Myanmar (September 30th, 2025)
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) presents an opportunity for countries and stakeholders to renew efforts and accelerate progress in combating the growing threat of AMR. This meeting will serve as the foundation for executing policies and ensuring accountability for strengthening health systems against AMR.
