Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations

What is the African Dialouge Series?

#ADS2025

The Africa Dialogue Series (ADS) is the United Nations' premier annual platform for inclusive policy dialogue on Africa, organized by the Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) in collaboration with the African Union. Held each May at the UN Headquarters in New York and online, the Series convenes high-level stakeholders—including African governments, the diaspora, civil society, academia, youth, and international partners—to address critical issues affecting the continent’s development.

About the ADS

Organized annually by the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) and its partners to contribute to and amplify the priorities of African Member States and the African Union, the Africa Dialogue Series (ADS) is an interactive platform for policy- and decision-makers, experts, academics, members of civil society, young people and other stakeholders from the UN and externally to come together and look into the challenges and opportunities impacting Africa.

The ADS culminates with a High-level Policy Dialogue organized around plenary meetings at a political level that contributes towards policymaking and serves as a platform for in-depth exchanges to produce forward-looking and implementable ideas and recommendations toward accelerating Africa’s development.
